Bethal, Trap vas!

History of Our School:

H.M. Swart was founded in 1909. On September 8, 1909, there were 156 learners in the school.

The school was initially a combined school. In April 1918, Bethal High School opened and  Bethal Primary School then became a full-fledged primary school. On October 12, 1945, the current buildings were officially opened. With the celebration of the Spring Festival on September 3, 1948, it was announced that the school would henceforth be known as H.M. Swart in honour of the principal, Mr. H.M. Swart.

In 2021, there are nearly 600 students in the school..
